医農連携による機能性農産物の開発と普及のためのマーケティング調査

腎臓病患者は食事制限が必要である。日本人の主食であるコメや生野菜さえも摂取を我慢しなければならず，生活の質（QOL）を低下させている。これまで技術開発により「低タンパク米」や「低カリウムレタス」が開発されているが，必ずしも需要者のニーズを満たしておらず，ミスマッチが生じている。本研究では，それらの機能性農産物に対する需要者（医療機関および患者）のニーズ分析を行い，ミスマッチの解消を目的とする。そのようなマーケティング戦略を提案することにより，患者のQOL向上に寄与する。また，潜在的な腎臓病患者は世界に6億人いるといわれ，海外市場にも輸出可能性が高まり，「医農連携」による高付加価値化によって，日本農業の国際競争力強化に貢献することができる。
