By giving the first grade students(300) the opportunity to use their own studied knowledge, we are going to teach the students to think by themselves and act by themselves in "Information B". In order to efficiently choose a supermarket register, we make the students think what information we need, and how we should use it. We expand this idea using Grid computing, then it is extended to the grid policy, where it can be used nractinally in the community.

Examination into Educational Effects of IT use in Schools by Follow-up Survey of Former Students

Since its early days, Nishimera village in Miyazaki prefecture has been keen to introduce use of Information Technology (IT) in school education and by now has considerable experience. In this study, a follow-up survey, focusing on 142 ex-students who attended elementary or junior high schools in the town in 1996, was conducted in order to examine the educational effects of IT use in schools. Analyzing 101 responses (recovery rate of 71.1%), it is shown that the experience of using IT in schools contributes to an educational effect, such as knowledge acquisition, expansion of thought and deeper comprehension of subjects. Furthermore the survey shows that the zest for living needed after school were also cultivated by IT education in the schools.

Since computers and internets have been introduced positively to school education in Nishimera town, advanced educational practices so far have been built up over many years. In the present paper, we carried out the follow-up survey intended for all 142 people who were students of elementary or junior high school in Nishimera-town in 1996 fiscal year. This survey aims to verify the educational effect, due to the rich use of multi-media in school education. As a result of analyses of the answers obtained from 101 people, it was found that the experience of using multi-media in school education significantly contributes to the educational effect, such as knowledge acquisition, deepening thought, understanding contents of lesson. Moreover, the result shows that the fundamental ability needed after school graduation was cultivated through use of multi-media in elementary school and junior high school.

古文で学習する言語や文法に普段の生活で接する機会はほとんどないため, 生徒の多くが古文と他の国語の授業で学ぶ事項との関連を見出すことなく, 古文の学習を全く異質なものと受け取りがちである。そこで, 古典の学習事項とも関連がある「方言」についての学習時期を, 現代文 (口語文法) と古文 (文語文法) の中間に位置付け, 中学国語と高等学校国語との学習が有機的に機能する授業を設計する。また, 授業スタイルとして, 国語科における三領域「話すこと・聞くこと」, 「書くこと」, 「読むこと」が一体となる双方向のコミュニケーションを取り入れ, その教育効果を検証する。
